THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON — The Crown Divided · Series Finale Approaching

Six Kings & One Prayer

We're nearing the end of our journey through the northern kingdom — nineteen kings, and not one ran to God when it mattered most. Today we meet the final six standing before Samaria's fall, with the Assyrian Empire already at the door. Then we cross into Judah, where one king did what none of the others thought to do: he walked into the temple and prayed — and it changed everything.

IN OUR PRAYERS Our sympathy is with Brett Newton and his family after the passing of his father, Van Newton. Services are pending. Please keep them in your prayers.

NEW ARRIVAL Congratulations to Lucas & Allie Dollar on the birth of their daughter, Alexandra Blythe Dollar, born June 25!

BAPTISMS Kate Ervin, Elizha Fernandez, Takoby Hilliard, and Riley Mundine were baptized into Christ at Camp Horizon last week. We rejoice with each of them and their families!

THANK YOU NOTES

A huge thank-you to all who helped honor fathers at the Nacho Average Dad Bash! Andy Russell kept us laughing with his original dad jokes. Randy Truxal, Terri and Landry Laird helped everyone tee off in putt putt golf. Hats off to Melesa & Mike Stewart and Dennis & Connie Deckard for the delicious nachos, and Shannon Haynes and Abby Laird for the wooden craft fun!

Words cannot express the love felt by our family from our Park Avenue Church family for the funeral service of our mom, Margie Lowing. The luncheon was amazing. The singing was beautiful and the words spoken were perfect. Thank you also for the plant — the many cards she received during her illness cheered her greatly. You all are forever in our hearts. — With love, Donna Harrelson

CONTACT UPDATE Nancy Richard has a new address and would enjoy receiving cards: Room 512, c/o Homestead in Denison 1101 Reba McEntire Lane, Denison, TX 75020

PEW TO PULPIT Have a Scripture you just can't get out of your head? Submit any passage — a single verse or up to a full chapter — and our minister will preach a sermon from it. Share why it matters to you, and he'll take it from there. Submit at pacoc.net/p2p or through the church app.

What a joy it is to have you with us. We are so glad you chose to spend part of your day here — worshiping together, sharing communion, and opening God's Word. Welcome.
