Opening Prayer – Lead the congregation into worship through prayer. Invite God's presence and ask Him to prepare hearts for worship. Pray for receptiveness to His word through song, communion, and preaching, and ask God to help us set aside the distractions and concerns of the week.
Communion Meditation – Lead the church in remembering the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. We encourage you to use Scripture as you guide us to reflect on our sin, God's great love, and the forgiveness made possible through Jesus' death and resurrection.
Announcements – Inform the congregation about upcoming events and ministry opportunities. The church office will provide a list of announcements to share. Personal connections to the events you mention help others engage more meaningfully. These announcements often serve as invitations for the body of Christ to exercise their gifts in service.
Contribution Prayer – Lead the congregation in thanksgiving as we present our offerings to God. We encourage you to incorporate Scripture and focus on themes such as generosity, contentment, and using our resources to bless others and advance God's kingdom.
Attendance Counter – Take an accurate count of Sunday morning worship attendance. This is typically done midway through the service once everyone has arrived. You'll serve on a team and be responsible for counting one section of the worship center.
Greeter – Serve as the welcoming face of our church. Greeters warmly welcome both members and guests as they arrive, distribute bulletins, and help direct people to various locations throughout the building.
Usher – Help members and especially guests find seating as they enter the worship center. Be prepared to answer questions and proactively look for visitors who may need assistance or have questions about our facilities.
Audio Visual – Operate sound and video equipment during Sunday worship. Responsibilities include advancing presentation slides, managing the live-stream, and running the sound board. Complete training is provided for anyone interested in serving in this technical role.
